The cutting-edge Volt Care technology from LG keeps air conditioners functioning while protecting products from low-high voltage swings. LVS and HVS, which make up Volt Care, enable goods to run at low voltage while HVS maintains their safety from high voltage or power surges.

In order to provide safety against high-voltage power surges and consequently boost the air conditioners’ overall longevity, the LG PCB (Power Circuit Board) was modified to increase its capacity to handle voltage changes. The infrastructure is fragile, thus there is typically less electricity available than there is demand. This happens more frequently in the summer heat when electricity use is high. Even in colder temperatures, the LG air conditioner runs on lesser voltage.
